"Rosa Khutor" in Sochi named the best resort in Russia for recreation for the New Year

The tourist portal TurStat presented a rating of the best Russian ski resorts for recreation for the New Year 2022 based on the results of an online survey on which resort is best to rest and celebrate the upcoming New Year. More than 50 thousand portal visitors took part in the survey in November this year.

"The top 10 best Russian resorts for recreation for the New Year 2022 are headed by the Rosa Khutor resorts in the mountains of Sochi and Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria," TurStat reports.

The top ten also includes the resorts of Belokurikha in the Altai Territory, Abzakovo in Bashkiria, Sheregesh in the Kemerovo Region, Dombay in Karachay-Cherekesia, Solnechnaya Dolina in the Chelyabinsk Region, Igora in the Leningrad Region, Sorochany in the Moscow Region, Mountain Air on Sakhalin in Bolshoi Wood Murmansk region and Mount Belaya.

Resorts Rosa Khutor and Elbrus received 17% of votes each in an online poll, resorts Belokurikha and Abzakovo - 10% each, resorts Sheregesh, Dombay and Solnechnaya Dolina - 7% each, Igora resort - 6%, Sorochany - 5%, resorts Mountain Air, Bolshoy Vudyavr and White Mountain - 4% of the votes each.
