Reserves of the South of Siberia will more actively master IT technologies for environmental awareness-raising events in a new format due to a difficult epidemiological situation. According to the press service of the Public Chamber of Khakassia, currently the previously planned events of environmental institutions are being reviewed, and many are transferred to the online space.

A high-quality site for this has already been created: the National Reserve Zapovednaya Fund, with the participation of the Khakass Republican Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization Russian Geographical Society, has purchased modern equipment for the Khakassky and Sayano-Shushensky federal reserves, the Pozarym and Kirzinsky nature reserves.

Online work will allow for inter-regional environmental events, conferences, meetings, exchange of experience with colleagues from other regions to share protected news with all wildlife lovers without any risk to health.

The employees of the Sayano-Shushensky reserve on its official page on Instagram launched a series of online lessons, and the secretive inhabitant of the mountains, the irbis, became the theme of the first lesson.

The immediate plans include holding an online conference on the experience and features of implementing effective waste management measures, which will be actively attended by representatives of the Khakass and Sayano-Shushensky reserves, as well as other protected areas of the Altai-Sayan Ecoregion.
