Rosvodresursy has started the registration for the All-Russian Ecoquest "Water.Online" 2.0.
The event was developed for environmental education of students of higher and secondary educational institutions of the country, according to the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation.
Participants of the Water.Online 2.0 quest will try their hand at the ecological professions of the future, understand why water is becoming the main strategic resource, and also learn how to apply the acquired skills for an ecological lifestyle.
To register for the quest, it is enough fill in an application on the website www.vodnyquest.rf from April 5 to May 30. From April 12 to May 30, participants will be asked to complete the tasks. They are waiting for the test on topics related to the water industry and the profile tasks of the state. Next, students will have to complete one of 5 creative tasks: come up with a challenge in tiktok, develop a unique ecological route for tourists on the shore of a water body, prepare a concept for an eco-educational blog, conduct a volunteer or educational event, and analyze the state of a reservoir.
The work of the participants will be evaluated by an expert commission, it will include industry professionals - the head of the Federal Agency for Water Resources Dmitry Kirillov, Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Field of Water Resources of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation Roman Minukhin, Director of the Development Center of the Water Chemical Complex of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia Ilya Razbash, as well as the chairman of the All-Russian Society for Conservation Nature, UN Goodwill Ambassador Vyacheslav Fetisov.
In 2021, the educational platform GeekBrains and the largest electronic and audiobook service in Russia and the CIS countries, litres, became the main partners of ecoquest. Traditionally, the ecoquest is held in cooperation with the Institute for Consulting Environmental Projects - the organizer of the All-Russian Junior Water Competition and Forum.
