They appeared in the very center of the city near the seaside embankment and the Festivalny hall. Sochi's green outfit has been replenished with eight Red Book Pitsunda pines. An important environmental action was initiated by the University Plaza company. The tree planting took place with the participation of representatives of the Department of Environmental Protection, Forest Park, Agriculture and Industry of the Sochi Administration.

«The type of trees - Red Book Pitsunda pines - and the planting site were determined by specialists from the Department for Environmental Protection, Forest Park, Agriculture and Industry of the Sochi Administration. Despite the fact that the area near the Festivalny hall seems spacious, only eight places have been designated for planting large trees,» said Oleg Udachin, executive director of the University Plaza company.

It is worth noting that Sochi's green outfit was mainly formed in the 60s of the last century. Given the lifespan of the trees, it must be maintained with new plantings. Earlier, at the initiative of the University Plaza, 53 new pines have already appeared in different districts of Sochi, including the embankment of the Psakhe River. The company plans to continue its good tradition, as well as provide planting maintenance throughout the year.
