Those who pluck a plant in unauthorized places or flower beds of the city will be punished with a fine from two to 300 thousand rubles. On the eve of the wonderful spring festival on March 8, the work of monitoring services to identify violators will be strengthened at the resort.

- In accordance with the law of the Krasnodar Territory "On the protection of green spaces in the Krasnodar Territory" and the current city rules of landscaping, damage to any green spaces entails bringing the perpetrator to administrative responsibility. In case of detection of illegal collection of flowers from urban areas, the fine for individuals will be from two to four thousand rubles, officials - from 20 to 39 thousand, legal entities - up to 300 thousand rubles. In case of repeated violations, the amounts will increase, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Sochi administration.

Due to the warm autumn, the mimosa at the resort bloomed ahead of schedule. To date, 150 kilograms of this plant have already been imported to Russia from Abkhazia.
