Now it will be possible to admire the panoramic views of the northern capital from the City Duma Tower at a height of 47.5 meters, overcoming 233 steps along the spiral staircase, reports ATOR Vestnik (Association of Tour Operators of Russia).

“The observation deck can be bypassed in a circle, while viewing and photographing are not interfered with by either protective glasses or a mesh. The high-rise dominant opens up the prospect of Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's and Kazansky Cathedrals, the Admiralty, House of Books, Savior on Spilled Blood, Peter and Paul Fortress, Trinity and Smolny Cathedrals, Lakhta Center, the ATOR said in a statement.

In the premises of the tower there is an exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the return to the city of the historical name of St. Petersburg, as well as places associated with the name of the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

Visiting the tower is possible for one hour sessions (from 10.00 to 21.00 daily, except Wednesday). Only 10 tickets are sold for each session, so it makes sense to think about the visit in advance. Tickets are available on the website of the Tchaikovsky Center for Musical Culture, the cost is 350 rubles, children under 7 years old are not allowed, the association said.
