The press service of the Tver Oblast government told about the implementation of a number of new investment projects in the Upper Volga region. These include the construction of a tourist complex in the village of Kotechishche. Work has already begun.

In particular, it is planned to build an educational and recreational center there for the year-round holding of corporate events and training programs in a unique natural environment. The complex will have access to the water routes of Lake Seliger, which will make it a tourist attraction. To date, a beach has already been equipped in Kotechishche.

On the territory of the Ostashkovsky district, it is also planned to develop other eco-complexes: "Unitsa", "Kartun", "Novy Kovcheg" and "SDL", where the popular gastronomic festival "Seliger Fishmonger" is held.

The agritourist complex in the village of Lezhnevo will also be developed. Currently, there is a hangar for equipment, buildings and an aviary for animals and birds, as well as facilities for processing neighboring lands.
