Of late, colonies of flamingos are seen crowding the lakes/creeks in Navi (New) Mumbai, India. The migratory birds arrive in the winter season from different parts of India and neighbouring countries and are seen usually leaving the region again in the spring months.

It’s an annual visual treat when a creek in Navi Mumbai is host to flamingos that visit the place every year. However, this year the number of flamingos has increased exponentially… an indication that the Earth is healing. It is assumed that there has been 25 percent increase in flamingo migration since last year.

Navi Mumbai is witnessing nature in abundance like never before!
