This summer season, the Nakhazo campsite will start receiving guests on June 15th. It is located on the southern slope of the Aibga ridge at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level. This is a modern tourist camp of increased comfort with 12 wooden lodges with a creative triangular shape, reminiscent of gable tents. Inside, the houses are equipped with everything necessary for a cozy overnight stay - beds with linens, sockets for recharging phones, lamps, etc. Also on the campsite there are catering points, a sanitary unit with toilets and showers, an information center with mountain equipment rental, a large terrace overlooking the Psou river valley - a telescope standing here will allow guests to watch the stars. Cellular communication and wi-fi are available at the campsite.
“For the first time, Nakhazo camping opened in July last year and immediately showed high demand. At the end of the season, more than 2.5 thousand guests visited it. We believe that this year it will also be popular - the demand for a vacation with a comfortable immersion in the "wild" nature is only growing. This year, tourists will be offered interesting hiking trails in the mountains and services of guides. You can order a trip to the mountains at the camping info center, and the programs are designed for both adults and children,” the press service of the Rosa Khutor resort notes.
Camping offers routes in the mountains of varying degrees of difficulty and length. The most popular of them runs along the path to Mount Lysaya. This walk takes about two hours (about 3 km) and leads to the top of the mountain, devoid of vegetation, which offers stunning 360-degree panoramic views. The guests of Nakhazo also demand a simple circular route called the Deer Path, about 3 km long. It passes through a fir forest and a picturesque meadow with high field grass, where you can meet chamois and deer. However, the Turya Road is considered the most beautiful. The route starts from the Nakhazo campsite and after two kilometers it reaches the top of the Aibga ridge and leads along it to the Turyi Gory mountain range through alpine meadows, herbs, views of the valleys of the Psou and Mzymta rivers.
Nahazo camping can be reached by the cable cars of the resort to the top of Rosa Peak and then walk along the mountain road for 7 km. A ski pass for the ski lifts is available at a special reduced rate when booking a camping stay. For vacationers, the option of a full board is provided, i.e. three meals a day, this service (at the request of guests) can be provided by the Vysota 2320 restaurant. The campsite also offers movie screenings, a large selection of board games, yoga classes, basic mountaineering or hiking skills.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
