On the eve of the May holidays the number of flights from Domodedovo airport to resorts and cities of sightseeing tourism is increasing.
Sochi remains the most popular destination for flights across Russia from DME. The number of flights to the Black Sea resort at the end of April – in the first days of May will increase to 135 per week. Flights in this direction are operated by Ural Airlines, S7, and Nord Star airlines. In fact, planes to Sochi from Moscow Domodedovo Airport will fly every hour.
The number of flights to Mineralnye Vody is also increasing. From April 26, Ural Airlines will introduce a new daily flight, and from May 5, Nord Star will begin operating flights three times a week.
In the period up to and including May 12, S7 Airlines introduced an additional evening flight to Volgograd, which traditionally becomes one of the centers of attraction for tourists during the May holidays.
Since mid-April, Ural Airlines and S7 Airlines have increased the frequency of flights to Kaliningrad. You can now travel from Domodedovo Airport to the capital of Amber for the May holidays up to five times a day.
At the same time, Moscow becomes a point of attraction for tourists from the regions of Russia for a long weekend in May. Since the middle and end of April, there have been more flights to DME from Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Blagoveshchensk, Irkutsk, Chita, Novy Urengoy and other Russian cities.
The most popular of the foreign destinations is Dubai, as well as the cities of Turkey. Flights to Antalya and Istanbul are operated from Domodedovo Airport. Ural Airlines has also started operating charters to Dalaman since the end of April.
In April, the frequency of flights to Casablanca was increased, the popularity of which is growing among Russian tourists. Morocco is one of the 18 flight destinations unique to the Moscow air hub – you can only travel to this country from Domodedovo Airport.
