From October 6 to 9, Moscow's eco-centers will host a series of events as part of World Habitat Day. Visitors will learn about the importance of caring for areas that serve as homes for animals and plants. This was reported on the website of the Moscow Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

"Participation in the event will help draw attention to environmental problems and contribute to the preservation of unique natural areas," the department noted.

For example, on October 6, the Terletsky Eco-Center will hold a thematic lesson dedicated to the protection of various types of ecosystems in the wild and a careful attitude towards the environment. And at the Yuzhny Eco-Center, guests will get acquainted with the diversity of marine mammals, their role in aquatic ecosystems.

At the "Kuskovo Eco-School", visitors will be able to take part in a master class on creating picturesque ecosystems inhabited by animals and birds.

Guests of the Bitzensky Park Eco-Center will learn about Russia's wetlands and their fauna. At the event, it will be possible to make a mini-model of a swamp from improvised materials.

On October 8, visitors to the Tsar's Apiary Eco-Center will learn about the role of green areas in the life of the city.

And the next day, the Kuzminki Eco-Center invites you to the event "Don't Pick Flowers". Employees will share information about the regimes operating in specially protected natural areas and explain why it is important to comply with them.
