Malta's official travel portal VisitMalta reports that as of July 25, travelers will no longer need a negative PCR test for coronavirus or a vaccination certificate to enter the country.
Previously, these documents were mandatory. Otherwise, tourists were required to undergo a 10-day quarantine, which could be reduced to 7 days after receiving a negative coronavirus test.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) recalled that Russians need a Schengen visa to travel to Malta. At the moment, the visa center of this country does not issue tourist visas, and the list of categories of persons who can apply is limited.
