Russian Oleg Chegodaev decided to go through all the protected areas of the Urals on foot in five months. An athlete-traveler from Ufa, a photographer, a popularizer of tourism, called his new trip the Ural Expedition. The goal of the traveler is to walk from south to north the entire Urals, from the latitudinal course of the Ural River to the northernmost peak of the ridge, Mount Konstantinov Kamen. The entire route will be over three thousand kilometers.

Oleg Chegodaev has been walking for two months already, overcame two thousand kilometers, recently crossed one of the most beautiful stages of his hiking trip on foot - the Vishersky Reserve in the Kama region. According to the director of the reserve, Pavel Bakharev, there are places on the territory of the reserve that are completely closed for tourists. But Oleg Chegodaev, as part of the expedition, became a volunteer for the reserve and received permission to pass. For the Vishersky Reserve, he became a photographer during the trip and prepared a series of photographs of the most beautiful and inaccessible places of the reserve.

The traveler's movement can be monitored in real time on the expedition website. Also, the traveler every day makes a photo and video report in his social networks. He plans to complete the expedition in September.
