The nature festival "Carried Away to the Tundra" will take place on July 20 at the Lapland Nature Reserve in the Murmansk region. This was reported by the Visit Imandra portal.
"You can expect ecological and educational tourism, events and activities in the midst of tundra and mountains, workshops, and a hike to Mount Elnyun," the announcement states.
Festival guests will also have the opportunity to walk along guided trails, visit exhibitions, learn how to weave friendship bracelets and eco-bags, create eco-bird feeders, paint, rent SUP boards or boats, and relax in a lounge area overlooking the preserved forests and lakes.
The Lapland Nature Reserve is located in the western part of the Murmansk region and falls within the northern taiga zone. Its territory lies between the watersheds of the White Sea and the Barents Sea. The reserve features a variety of biotopes (forest, tundra, forest-tundra, swamps, rivers, lakes), and the animal and plant life is characterized by high diversity.
