The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, asked the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Dmitry Kobylkin to agree on the creation of a special protected natural area of ​​regional significance on the territory of the Kushtau Monadnock.

Other monadnocks - Tratau and Yuraktau - are also natural monuments of regional significance.

According to media reports, the Ministry of Natural Resources is ready to assist in fulfilling the request of the head of Bashkiria.
