Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) is looking at promoting luxury tourism as one of its primary segments in India. In keeping with the intent, KTO New Delhi recently hosted twin-city roadshows - South Korea Luxury Connect - in Chandigarh and New Delhi, with the aim of introducing the Indian market to South Korea's high-end travel sector.

At the event, KTO New Delhi introduced Luxury Korea travel to the attendees, focusing on the unique offerings of South Korea and various themes of luxury travel including Golf & Yachting, Beauty & Wellness, Gourmet food & Shopping experiences as well as special events like boutique weddings and honeymoon trips.

The participants at the event included two DMCs from Korea - Jane DMC Korea and Jeju Ent. While expressing keen interest to host luxury travellers from India, Jane DMC Korea introduced various event and wedding venues in Korea for special occasions like weddings, 60th Birthday and 25th Anniversary celebrations. Jeju Ent, on the other hand, took attendees through a tour of the many distinct luxury travel options, available on the beautiful island of Jeju.
