The press service of the "Volcanoes of Kamchatka" natural park network has announced the closure of popular summer tourist routes due to the onset of cold weather. For example, the Klyuchevskoy Natural Park is now completely inaccessible to visitors.
Several routes in the Nalychevo, Bystrinsky, Vilyuchinsky, and South Kamchatka natural parks have been partially closed. However, the natural territories themselves can still be visited with prior approval. Tourists need to obtain a permit through the "Gosuslugi41" portal, the "Green Button" mobile app, or in person at the office in Yelizovo and the visitor center in the village of Esso.
The following routes remain open: "South Kamchatka: Transit" in the South Kamchatka Natural Park, "Radygino-Tsentralny" and "To Avacha Pass and the Verblyud extrusion" in Nalychevo, "Pioneer Hill," "White Cliffs," "Tupikin Key," "Cheremshanska River," "Ilmagan Lake," "Galyamaki Lake," and "Dimshikansky cordon" in Bystrinsky Park. Additionally, tourists can climb the Vilyuchinsky volcano.
Travelers have also been reminded that the weather can be unpredictable in the off-season, and some sections of the roads require off-road vehicles.
