The geography of the festival participants covers Russia, the USA, Europe and Asia, its mission is to make media art understandable and accessible to everyone.
“Therefore, INTERVALS is a large-scale free media exhibition at architectural locations in the historical center of the city, a multi-format educational program and a series of audiovisual performances and musical events,” the organizers describe the festival on the event website.
According to them, this year INTERVALS will go beyond the historic center of Nizhny Novgorod.
“The media exhibition will take place in outdoor locations and indoor spaces, many of which are new, both for the festival and for the city,” the message says.
In addition, on the first day of the festival, an audiovisual concert will take place in the art space TSEKH*.
“During the festival, artists will revive and color the city, tell incredible stories with the help of buildings, light and music - they will create audiovisual street installations on the facades in the center of Nizhny Novgorod, as well as indoor installations,” the national tourist portal Russia Travel reports.
