The Moscow Tourist Information Center on Tverskaya Square is inviting residents and visitors to free autumn walking tours titled "In Search of Old Moscow" and "Along the Boulevard of Time". The tours will take place every Saturday and Sunday from October 19 to November 10 at 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. This was announced by the Moscow Tourism Committee on its website.
"Participants of the 'In Search of Old Moscow' tour will stroll through the heart of the capital: they will walk through Tverskaya Square, peek into Stoleshnikov Lane, visit Maya Plisetskaya Square, explore the Myasoedov Estate, and take photos at the Alexander Ostrovsky monument," the committee said.
Those who choose the "Along the Boulevard of Time" route will walk along the Boulevard Ring and nearby lanes, see tenement houses, and monuments to Alexander Pushkin, Alexander Tvardovsky, and Vladimir Vysotsky.
Registration is required for both tours.
The walks will begin on Tverskaya Square. Guests should meet at the Tourist Information Center.
The Moscow Tourism Committee also mentioned a special themed section on the Russpass service called "Autumn in Moscow." Here, you can sign up for tours, buy tickets, and choose your preferred autumn leisure options. The section features theatrical premieres of the season, options for family leisure during the holidays, selections of museums, parks, and restaurants, and walking routes around the city.
