The training avalanche and rescue range resumed work at the complex. It provides an opportunity to gain theoretical and practical skills of safe behavior in the mountains.

The free training ground has been operating since 2020 as part of the social initiative of the Rosa Khutor resort and is designed to develop skills in handling special avalanche equipment - a beeper, a probe and understanding the procedure for searching and rescuing people in an avalanche.

The landfill consists of target sensors placed under the snow, controlled by a special remote control. During training, you need to find a target with a beeper, probe it and dig it out. When the probe hits the target, a motion sensor installed under it is triggered and transmits a signal to the remote control. Thus, when one target is found, the next one can be searched for.

The program was created according to international standards and is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. You can get to the training ground on skis or snowboard, trainings are held only for persons over 18 years old. By separate agreement, it is possible for children from 14 years old to attend training sessions together with their parents.

Classes are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 13 to 15. 00 and include a theoretical part and the main - practical. Thus, the technique of individual and team search is being worked out. Avalanche equipment - a beeper, a shovel and a probe can be obtained at the range. Classes are held free of charge by prior appointment via WhatsApp at +79649485649. The number of participants in the group is limited.

The training ground will continue its work until the end of the current winter season.
