Five regions of the country signed agreements on the development of tourism infrastructure with the Tourism of the Russian Federation corporation

The documents were signed by the governors of the Stavropol Territory, Arkhangelsk, Volgograd, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions.

The press service of Tourism.RF reported that the corporation acts as a starting accelerator for investment projects, provides their methodological support and controls the implementation time.

All five regions that have joined the agreement are in demand among tourists. Their total tourist flow is about 8 million tourists a year. It is assumed that due to the new infrastructure, this figure can be doubled.

Under the new agreements, it is planned to implement several investment projects. In the Stavropol Territory, the creation of an international medical cluster "Solnechnaya Dolina" in Kislovodsk is being discussed, as well as the implementation of three investment projects in promising areas in Essentuki and Zheleznovodsk.

“The regions, within the framework of the agreements, will offer a number of tourist areas for integrated development. We will analyze the potential of each of them, and, if there are undeniable advantages, prospects for increasing the tourist flow, opportunities for engineering infrastructure, we will take them to work,” said the CEO of Tourism. RF" Sergey Sukhanov.

At the moment, the Corporation "Tourism.RF" has signed agreements on the development of tourism infrastructure with 57 regions of Russia.
