The international film screening program includes more than 80 documentary, feature, animation films, tourist videos, round tables, master classes, and creative meetings.
"The audience will be residents of more than 52 constituent entities of Russia and more than 30 countries of the world," - said the Federal Tourism Agency.
The screening will take place not only in an offline format, but also in broadcast mode, to which, in particular, foreign centers of science and culture, Russian houses, and educational institutions for the study of the Russian language will be connected.
Films were sent to the festival by representatives of Kamchatka, Altai, Yekaterinburg, Tatarstan, Crimea, Khanty-Mansiysk, Voronezh, Saratov, Australia, Serbia, Brazil, China, India, South Africa, USA, Spain, Italy, etc.
“Traditionally, the organizers of “Datу with Russia” selected the best documentaries about history, culture, nature, unique folk traditions and the most hospitable multinational Russian people,” said the founder and general producer of the festival, Alexander Ilyin, whose words are quoted in the message.
Both mature, experienced masters and young directors presented their works to the festival.
“Of particular interest to the audience is the work of Garik Sukachev as a director. His film about Altai "What is in me" will be shown in the competitive nomination "To Russia for Adventures", - reports Rosturizm.
The jury of the festival will be headed by Dmitry Chernetsov - director, cameraman, creator of the Northern Region TV channel, Laureate of the State Prize of Russia. The jury will include directors, film experts, representatives of the travel industry from Russia and Poland.
