It will be possible to visit three Sochi facilities of the Caucasian nature reserve free of charge - the eco-center "Laura" in Krasnaya Polyana, the park "Yuzhnye kultury" in Adler, the Yew-boxwood grove in Khost.
On this day, the staff of the reserve will conduct excursions, lectures and master classes at all excursion and recreational facilities. The management and veterans of the reserve will plant an alley of trees on the territory of the Laura cordon, the Sochi administration reported.
Caucasian State Natural Biosphere Reserve named after Kh.G. Shaposhnikov was founded in 1924 to preserve the bison population and natural ecosystems. The reserve is the largest protected area of the Caucasus Isthmus and the second largest in Europe. The institution is engaged in environmental protection, research and environmental education activities.
