The ambassadors of the EU member states approved the inclusion of the United States in the list of states whose citizens, even if they are not vaccinated against Covid-19, are allowed to enter the EU.

At the same time, travelers from the United States can be tested for coronavirus and sent to quarantine.

Representatives of the EU and the US are currently discussing the issue of mutual recognition of medical certificates and vaccination certificates. This would open the door for Europeans to enter the United States, whose borders are still closed to them.
