The EU COVID certificate, designed to revive tourism and facilitate travel, is being introduced from July 1 in the European Union.

From Thursday, the issuance of this free sanitary pass to the European Union should be available in all 27 member countries of the community, as well as in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway.

The EU COVID certificate indicates that a person has been vaccinated against Covid-19, has passed a negative test, or that he has developed antibodies after suffering from the disease.

These countries are required to accept travelers who have been vaccinated with four types of vaccinations allowed in the EU: Pfizer/ BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson&Johnson. EU states may also allow people to be vaccinated with vaccines that are allowed in some EU countries (for example, Spoutnik V, used in Hungary), or those that have been approved by WHO (for example, Chinese Sinopharm).
