Last year, more than 125,000 people went on excursions along ecological routes and master classes in the national park as part of organized groups. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia on its website, this is a record figure in the history of Losiny Island.

So, 10 years ago, about 32,000 people visited ecocenters, in the pandemic year of 2020, with severe restrictions, 67,000.

“Our task is to develop eco-tourism, to make holidays in Losiny Island comfortable and attractive. With a very careful attitude to nature, we create unique offers for our visitors. We are laying new eco-trails, updating expositions, constantly improving and introducing interesting programs,” the Ministry of Natural Resources quotes the words of the director of the national park, Rustam Yakubov.

In summer, tourists are especially attracted by the "Barefoot Path" in the Arboretum (Moscow Region), and in winter - Elk Biological Station (Moscow Region), where you can watch wild animals.

There is also a growing interest in excursions to the aviary complex. In 2021, new enclosures were equipped at the biological station, the Deer Path eco-route was opened, and a presentation center was organized.

“All-the-year-round tourist routes of one day in the eco-center “Tea drinking in Mytishchi” (Moscow region) enjoy constant popularity. Multi-kilometer walks, designed for several hours, gather groups of 20 - 30 people. In the Moscow part of the national park, events are held in the Russkiy Byt environmental center, the Ministry of Natural Resources said.

The largest number of animals lives in the regional part of the national park. First of all, these are large ungulates - elks, Far Eastern spotted deer, wild boars. Feeding grounds have been set up for them.

Last year, more than 4,500 trees were planted to improve the park on the site of former industrial and technical sites in Moscow, paths were repaired, and new benches were installed. Art objects appeared at the Belokamennaya MCC station. The renovation of the infrastructure for equestrian sports in Losiny Island has begun.
