The official website of the Kamchatka Territory reported a growing interest in cycling tourism in the region. Gradually, facilities are appearing to meet the demand for this type of leisure activity, tourist routes are being developed, and rental points are being created. In the future, this type of tourism should become even more accessible thanks to the improvement of urban areas.

Currently, the first specialized bike path is being created in Yelizovo. Its length will be at least three kilometers, and its width will be two meters. In the evening, it will be lit, and in the winter, the bike path will turn into a cross-country skiing trail.

Currently, tour operators offer various locations for cycling trips: to the foot of Kozelsky volcano, the bed of Sukhaya River, Mayachny and Vertikalny capes, and Khalaktyrsky beach. It is expected that this list will be supplemented with new places.

Cycling tourism will also be facilitated by the development of new and existing tourist routes. In May of this year, at the initiative of the Ministry of the Development of the Russian Far East, the Kamchatka Territory began preparing projects for the development of trails leading to Avachinsky Pass, Vilyuchinsky waterfall, the "Blue Lakes", and Khalaktyrsky beach.
