Control on difficult tourist routes of Kamchatka will be strengthened

The press service of the regional administration reported that the head of the Kamchatka Territory, Vladimir Solodov, during the operational meeting, stated the need to strengthen control over such routes.

The government commission will also have to develop proposals for informing about the danger associated with climbing such points or passing along routes of extreme risk level.

In addition, security measures will be worked out from the side of natural parks, as well as additional qualification checks of tourists who go on dangerous routes.

Earlier it was reported that nine out of twelve people died while climbing the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano.
