Book festival dedicated to folklore and ethnography will be held in the Perm region

The festival "Knigograd" will be held on August 27 in the city of Chusovoy, Perm Territory, as per the project "59 festivals of 59 regions", organized by the Perm House of Folk Art "Gubernia" with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the region.

This year, the organizers of the event decided to focus on popularizing the work of writers who use the heritage of folk art, as well as authors and historians writing about folklore and ethnography.

“The festival will offer trendy educational and interactive programs, meetings with popular writers, laureates of prestigious literary awards, mass dictation, master classes and lectures with the participation of faculty from prestigious educational institutions in Moscow, Perm, Ulyanovsk, the State Center for Russian Folklore ”, says the official site of the event.

The most active participants of the festival will receive prizes - books with writers' autographs and souvenirs.
