For the first time in Russia, an artificial intelligence system has been implemented at the Bobrovy Log ski resort to ensure the safety of people. The digital ecosystem, developed by MTS, allows for real-time monitoring of the condition of chairlifts and the identification of potentially dangerous situations. This was reported by TASS news agency.
The system includes an intelligent video surveillance system that analyzes the tilt of trees growing along the cable cars, as well as monitors the movement of the lifts. Cameras are able to operate even in difficult weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, and gusty winds.
"Artificial intelligence analyzes data from cameras around the clock and transmits information about any emergency situation to the workstation of the situational center operator in the form of an alarm message indicating the location of the danger," the MTS press service said.
In addition to monitoring cable cars, the system can also detect forgotten and suspicious objects, record cases of vandalism, theft, and conflicts.
"The introduction of artificial intelligence at the Bobrovy Log resort is a significant step forward in ensuring the safety of people," stressed Alexander Lebedev, Director of the Krasnoyarsk MTS branch. "This solution not only increases the level of security but also allows you to optimize the operation of the resort and reduce costs."
Bobrovy Log Fanpark is a ski resort located within the city of Krasnoyarsk. The resort was founded in 2006 and is visited by more than 600,000 people annually. 10 Bobrovy Log trails are certified in accordance with international standards set by the International Ski Federation. The slopes of the complex host regional and federal ski competitions.
The introduction of artificial intelligence at the Bobrovy Log resort is an example of how new technologies can be used to improve the safety and efficiency of enterprises.
It is expected that this system will be replicated at other ski resorts in Russia.
