About 30% of countries are closed to international tourism

Of the 217 tourist destinations, 69 are now completely closed, Interfax-Turism reports with reference to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

Most of them are located in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.

However, some countries are only partially closed.

When traveling, many countries require a negative PCR test and quarantine for 3 to 14 days.

Such measures were taken in connection with the new strains of the COVID-19 virus.
