The route will unite the resorts Krasnaya Polyana, Rosa Khutor, Gazprom, the Esto-Sadok railway station and the village. Most of it will run along the banks of the Mzymta River. Within the framework of the project, a part of the embankment with a length of three kilometers will be rebuilt. It will join the existing four-kilometer stretch of boardwalk.

"There is a colossal need of the population and tourists in the development of walking and cycling links between the resorts of the mountain cluster and the village of Krasnaya Polyana. An interdepartmental working group has been created to work out the details of this project in order to include it in the new Master Plan for the city's development," said the head of Sochi, Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

On the section of the Mzymta embankment, the pedestrian bridge to the beach about one kilometer long will be installed, paving stones will be replaced and new park furniture will be put in place. Additional lighting elements will also be installed in the embankment area. The project will contribute to the development of cycling and the availability of the Esto-Sadok railway station, which will reduce the traffic load of mountain resorts by half. The implementation period is 5 years.
