The bear arranged an unplanned photo session with a camera trap in the Kerzhensky nature reserve in the Nizhny Novgorod region. He several times made his own adjustments to the location of the CCTV camera, as a result, it got several successful shots.

As the press service of the reserve reported, on May 14, a camera trap was installed in a pine forest on the outskirts of a swamp in the Zeleny tract, which was directed to the east.

After some time, a bear living in the territory of the reserve became interested in the device. For the first time, the animal made an attempt to "change" the operation of the device in early June. The bear rotated the device, as a result the camera turned out to be looking at the ground.

The second attempt to arrange a photo session took place on June 15th. As a result, the camera was successfully turned to the north, and the “amateur photographer” was able to take several «selfies» at night and in the daytime.

In addition to his own portraits, the bear "photographed" a crane and a brood of a capercaillie. For the correct monitoring work the staff of the reserve returned the camera to its original position. "Let's hope that the bear was satisfied with the results of the photo session and will not continue to change the position of the automatic camera," the staff of the reserve joked.
