On the eve of St. Valentine's Day, Ufa will hold the annual and most romantic competition - "Love on the Run".

“You can run in couples or alone, the goal of the race is to melt the ice and bring spring closer. All finishers will receive a medal in the form of a heart,” the national tourism portal Russia.travel reports.

In addition, on February 13, an extreme Hard Trail race will take place in the village of Toksovo, Leningrad Region. It is the second round of the Hard Trail Cup. The program includes several starts at different distances, among them - a six-kilometer dog trail (with dogs) and a "walrus race" - for those who dare to run 1 km in a bathing suit, the portal notes.

Veliky Novgorod will host the Novgorod ICE winter trail on the same day. “The route starts at the walls of the picturesque Kremlin and goes to the territory of the Vitoslavlitsa Museum, along the banks of the Volkhov and Lake Myachino,” reports Russia.travel.

On February 13, St. Petersburg will host the Piskarevsky half marathon, dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the complete lifting of the blockade of Leningrad.

In addition, other races are expected this month.

Thus, on February 19, HONOR VLADIVOSTOK ICE RUN - 2022 will be held on Russky Island. This is an annual race on the ice of the Sea of ​​​​Japan, athletes from 30 regions of Russia and eight countries will take part in it, the portal reports.

On February 19 and 20, the sports and cultural festival Ice Valdaice will be held in Valdai. An entertainment program is provided, several starts are planned, including a 42 km relay race.

On February 27, Bella Run 2022 is planned in Yegoryevsk. Athletes and amateurs will compete at distances of 1, 5, 10 km, as well as in a half marathon and marathon.
