It will lift tourists to a height of over 3,000 meters to the Abishira-Akhuba mountain range in the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic.
The Interfax-tourism portal, citing the head of the KChR, Rashid Temrezov, reported that installation work is currently underway.
The capacity of the road will be 1200 people per hour. It will take tourists to the highest observation deck of the resort at a height of 3014 meters.
In addition, a parking lot for 419 places, engineering infrastructure and a garage for snow groomers are currently under construction.
The Arkhyz resort began operating in December 2013. In the tourist villages of the resort - Romantik and Lunnaya Polyana - there are more than 40 objects of skiing and utility infrastructure. The resort is equipped with 27 km of ski slopes, a network of lifts and artificial snow systems.
