A total of 11 million people visited the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the capital's tourism bureau reported. Hoteliers were pleased with the higher occupancy rate than in the previous summer months, when almost every fifth guest was a foreign citizen.
Occupancy in Parisian hotels during the Olympics reached 84%, which is ten percentage points higher than in the same period last year. At the same time, 20% of the total number of foreign guests were US citizens.
