The student body "Team of the Arctic"has completed an expedition, the participants of which conducted a "great Arctic cleaning", MIREA –Russian Technological Universityreported.
20 volunteers from different regionsof Russia, divided into fourdetachments, carried out work at the Zimnegorsky Lighthouse, Morzhovets Island, Kanin Nose and Kolguev Island.
In total, about 150 tons of waste werecollected and accumulated, includingmore than 500 barrels.
The expedition participants were transported from Arkhangelsk to theArctic and back to the port by the scientific expedition vessel of Roshydromet Mikhail Somov.
