The start of the fourth season of the federal project "Clean Arctic" in Tiksi village was given by the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev, the head of the Clean Arctic project Andrey Nagibin and the head of the Bulunsky district Afanasy Androsov.

Cleanups within the framework of the "Clean Arctic" in Tiksi have been taking place since 2021. It is the second year that federal volunteers have been participating in them. The volunteers arrived from Moscow, Moscow, Novgorod and Yaroslavl regions.

This year, the Clean Arctic will cover four more settlements in Yakutia. In the whole country, the "Clean Arctic" is being implemented in nine regions of the Arctic zone. The most active work is carried out in Yakutia, where, according to the head of the project Andrey Nagibin, 6,000 volunteers are employed in the competition of 40 people per place.
