Swimming with whales awaits tourists in the Murmansk region

A new tourist product has appearedin the Murmansk region - swimmingwith whales, said Andrey Chibis, the governor of the Murmansk region.

According to him, accompanied by experienced instructors, travelers will learn how whales behave andcommunicate.

According to the survey, 64% of potential tourists would like to go to the Arctic, specifically to theMurmansk region. In 2023, 670,000guests visited the Arctic Circle, whichis 20% more than in the previous yearand is an absolute record for the region.

Such dynamics provides an incentiveboth for the further development of tourism infrastructure and for the development of new tourismproducts, commented GovernorChibis.
