VCIOM-news reported that during the presentation of Monchegorsk, investors were provided with the results of a study regarding the tourist attractiveness of this region.
The city is located in the heart of the Kola Peninsula and has many projects for investment, including using support programs for residents of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and financial support from VEB.RF.
“Director of the Social Policy Department of Norilsk Nickel Irina Zhuikova introduced the team of the Monchegorsk Development Agency (ARM), which Norilsk Nickel established to support initiatives to develop the urban environment, tourism, cultural events, and attract investment,” the statement says.
During the meeting, the main investment projects were outlined by the head of the “Business and Investments” direction of the Monchegorsk Development Agency, Alexander Polenkov. He spoke about the Arctic Investor program, its implementation and preferences, as well as additional benefits from the Murmansk region and the city of Monchegorsk.
