Two specially protected natural areas will be created in Anapa. The corresponding decree was signed by the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev.

Thus, the regional authorities hope to preserve natural areas from development.

The Anapskaya Peresyp Nature Park and the Anapskiy Nature Reserve will help preserve the dunes on the Vityazevskaya and Bugazskaya spits and preserve the water area of estuaries and the flooded zone of the Anapka River.

A total of 65 PAs are planned to be created in the Kuban, 25 of which already exist.

Protected areas are of exceptional importance for the preservation and restoration of natural ecosystems in the Krasnodar Territory.

Protected natural areas allow maintaining ecological balance, unique flora and fauna of local nature.
