The attendance of foreign tourists in Greece has recovered at the level of 70% compared to 2019. This was announced by the Central Bank of Greece.

According to him, at least 6 million foreigners rested in Greece during the summer season.
Tourism in Greece, whose population is about 11 million people, accounts for more than 20% of GDP. About 400,000 are employed in the tourism sector. Due to tourism, Greece's trade balance increased by at least 700 million euros in July and August alone.

Since September 13, Greece has imposed restrictions on travelers from abroad who are not vaccinated against coronavirus.

Foreign tourists who do not have a vaccination certificate will be required to regularly take a PCR test to visit restaurants.

Greece recognizes all three anti-СOVID vaccines approved in Russia.
