By the summer season, a youth tourist guide appeared in the capital.
It includes the most interesting and vibrant locations of the city - museums and creative clusters, cafes and restaurants, outdoor pools and parks, summer cinemas. This was reported on the portal of the mayor and the government of Moscow.
“The guide is designed to tell the youth audience about the opportunities for affordable active and cultural recreation in the capital and will be relevant throughout the summer season - from June to September,” as per the report.
The guide is already available in electronic format and will soon be released as a map.
“The guide in digital format can be found on a special page of the Afisha Daily website. It will help you learn about the most interesting museums, exhibitions, festivals and concerts, for which it is worth coming to Moscow. The guide will also tell about places for leisure and entertainment - from shopping centers to swimming pools, public spaces, bars and restaurants in Moscow," the mayor's office noted. There you can also get acquainted with a selection of capital hotels and get information about the best co-working spaces. In total, the guide includes more than 200 objects, among which you can find many unusual places.
“Promo codes from project partners, which can also be found in the guide, will allow you to get discounts on some entertainment in Moscow, which will make traveling to the capital more affordable. So, a trip on a double-decker sightseeing bus will become 20% cheaper, and from June 25, it will be possible to save 10% while walking on river buses. Bars in the capital have also prepared special menu offers for travelers.
The basis of the guide in the form of a folding map will be four unique thematic routes.
"Staromoskovsky with elements of modernity" will tell about the vicinity of Tsvetnoy Boulevard and Sretenka, "Hedonistic" - about the area of Kitay-Gorod, "Cultural and Urbanistic" will guide you through the museums and architectural monuments of the Basmanny District, and "Museum and Educational" will become the most cultural and offer to go from Zaryadye Park to the Museum of the East,” the mayor’s office said.
The card will also contain a QR code with a link to the digital version.
Free cards will be distributed at tourist information centers, hotels, music festivals and other events in Moscow and regions of Russia.
