Tourism industry of Kuban to receive more than 780 million rubles of state support in 2022

According to the administration of the Krasnodar Territory on its website, Kuban will receive about 750 million rubles under the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" and an additional 30 million will be allocated from the regional budget. Thus, more than 780 million rubles will be allocated for the development of the tourism industry in the region.

“The funds will be spent on the development of national tourist routes, the construction of car camping sites, and the improvement of beaches. Entrepreneurs who create new modern tourism products, comfortable recreation facilities or upgrade existing ones can count on subsidies. This will help make the tourism industry of the region even more diverse and accessible,” said the head of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, whose words are quoted in the message.

In addition, assistance can be obtained to cover the costs associated with the development of infrastructure. For example, to create a barrier-free tourist environment for people with disabilities, including the equipment of ramps, lifts, electronic guides.

As noted in the administration of the region, the competition for the development of domestic and inbound tourism within the framework of the national project for the first time this year was established by Rostourism. The Krasnodar Territory defended the right to receive state support.

More than 140 applications were submitted from Kuban. the winners have now been determined. Entrepreneurs and organizations with specific projects will receive 95 subsidies by the end of this year.
