At a meeting with Sochi Mayor Alexei Kopaygorodsky and Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, RT-Investor General Director Andrey Shipelov said that the raw material processing program would be implemented in two stages.

«At the first stage, in 2022, a two-container system for separate collection will be introduced, and in 2024, a three-container system, which includes a separate collection of organic matter. Thanks to the development of the AIS "Waste" system, digital monitoring and accounting of the movement of garbage is planned,» Andrey Shipelov noted.

As part of the second stage, three modern plants for the energy utilization of "tails" - waste that was not taken away during the sorting process - will be built. This will help reduce the disposal of raw materials by 15% by 2027, as well as close and rehabilitate 14 landfills for solid and domestic waste.

In addition, Shepilov noted that the introduction of new technologies will not affect the tariff for garbage collection. The complexes will operate according to the standards of Switzerland, France and Germany, so the tariff increase will not exceed 6%.

It should be noted that more than 2.5 million tons of waste is generated annually in the Kuban.
