Especially for the World Guide Day, which was celebrated on February 21, Avito Work analysts prepared statistics on the guide's profession.

In January 2023, the number of offers for guides on the platform increased by 27% – camp sites, museums, exhibition complexes are interested in experienced employees, and the activity of applicants themselves increased by 70%.

Most often, guides are looking for a job with a shift schedule – 59% of all ads. The median salary is 50 thousand. This is 17% higher than a year earlier.

There are also unusual vacancies: in Moscow, a coach and a guide are required in one person with their Enduro motorcycle, and in Kislovodsk - a tour guide with a historical or philological education.

Non-standard types of tourism are becoming increasingly popular in Russia - eco-tours, authentic trips with immersion in the culture and traditions of specific places, industrial tourism, weekend trips, ttelegraf.ru writes.
