According to the Interfax-tourism portal, citing Andrey Fedotov, the permanent representative of Yakutia in Moscow, the Yhyakh holiday will be held in the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve. Yhyakh personifies the meeting of summer and the awakening of nature. The holiday is timed to coincide with the time of the summer solstice and has preserved the ancient rituals based on the epic Olonkho. Yhyakh is a recognized masterpiece of the cultural heritage of UNESCO.

For example, within the framework of the holiday there will be competitions in the national sport of Yakutia, mas-wrestling (tug-of-war). In addition, everyone will be able to try such national dishes as traditional Yakut soup and stroganina.
