The work of the Sochi airport has stabilized after bad weather

During the past showers at the resort, 17 aircraft left for alternate airfields.

- An unfavorable weather forecast persists for several days on the territory of the resort: heavy rains, downpours with thunderstorms and hail, the danger of tornadoes forming over the sea. In this regard, some flights from Sochi International Airport were postponed. At the moment, the schedule has stabilized, all flights are made on time, the Sochi administration reports.

During the day on July 10, the airport served over 60,000 passengers and about 400 flights, including unscheduled ones.

The high-speed electric train "Lastochka" from Sochi to Gagra has also been restored. So far, trains from Russian cities to Sukhum stop at the Tsandrypsh station. From there, passengers are taken to their destinations by bus. Fully railway communication with Abkhazia is planned to be restored by the evening of July 12.
