The training avalanche and rescue range at Rosa Khutor has resumed work

The landfill has been operating since 2020 as part of the resort's social initiative and is designed for practical training in the use of equipment necessary for search and rescue in an avalanche. During his work, almost 1,600 people have trained here.

The training ground is a training ground with special target sensors placed under the snow in advance and controlled by remote control. During the training, you need to learn the correct search algorithm, work it out and try to find and dig out one of the "victims". When the probe hits the target, the motion sensor installed under it is triggered and transmits a signal to the remote control. Thus, when one target is found, you can search for the next one. The training is conducted by highly qualified specialists of the Anti-Avalanche service of the resort.

You can get to the training ground by skiing or snowboarding, training is only for people over the age of 18. The methodology is based on the most modern and effective rescue techniques. The program is designed for any level of riding and is suitable for both novice and experienced riders.
