Portal "Interfax-tourism" with reference to the head of the industrial tourism department of the Kaliningrad Amber Factory Oksana Pupysheva reported that this year the facilities of the complex were visited by more than 140 thousand people. At the moment, they have access to an observation deck over the Primorsky quarry, where amber is mined in an open way, and a museum and exhibition hall.

Major upgrades will affect the observation deck. The facility, which consistently ranks among the top three most visited places in the region, will become even more comfortable and interesting. A cinema zone will appear here, where visitors can watch popular science films about amber. The brand store of the Amber Combine will become more spacious.

For tourists traveling with children, the DinoPark educational and entertainment space will appear. The assortment of cafes on the observation deck will also change. Guests will be able to appreciate the tea and coffee area and taste fresh pastries from the canteen of the plant. In the dining room "Alatyr" there will be a menu with set meals for excursion groups.
